Two friends who dreamed
of a hotel just for dogs.

Meet Christopher and Stacy, proud to be family owned.

Christopher and Stacy grew up together as neighbors in rural Indiana. Christopher’s parents bred puppies on their property and provided them to the local agencies. Christopher handled the babies while Stacy mixed the formula into baby bottles. The dream of the Happy Dog Hotel was born.

Together, they have a 5-year goal to use some of the proceeds from the Happy Dog Hotel to build their own homeless shelter and support all dogs in need.

Childhood friends come full circle to
create the Happy Dog Hotel.

Christopher Zimmerman ascertained a pure bred stud, AKC registered German Shepherd, and bred with only verified AKC female German Shepherds. Christopher and his family then trained the puppies until they reached the appropriate age and provided them to local, state, and federal authorities as a non-profit so they could adequately utilize and create their Canine units. Christopher has always wanted to own a not for profit organization that takes in all dogs, no matter their circumstances. The Happy Dog Hotel will support organizations that serve this mission.

Stacy Fotos has been in the Metro Atlanta area since 1994. During that time, she has volunteered for the Children’s Restoration Network and played a huge part in their growth. CRN provides assistance to the
Homeless Battered Women’s and Children’s shelters in the Metro Atlanta area. She currently owns a HomeCare company in Alpharetta that assists our elderly population. She has a passion to help those in need, including animals.

It’s true, not only are our dogs happy at our hotel, but so is our staff. We only hire qualified dog professionals who understand dog’s needs and have a genuine love for animals. Each of our staff and canine coaches go through specialized training and certifications in order to be qualified for handling your pet.
