The Happy Dog Hotel was founded with a heart for service, compassion, and a deep love for dogs.

Owner Stacy Fotos has spent her life caring for others, beginning as a volunteer and board member with Children’s Restoration Network, where she supported children and families in need. She later owned and operated a home care company for 17 years, providing personalized, compassionate care to seniors—experience that now shapes the attentive, nurturing environment at The Happy Dog Hotel.

We offer boarding, daycare, and grooming, creating a safe, comfortable, and happy experience for every guest. Grooming services are provided by Dayna, our experienced and compassionate groomer who takes a gentle, patient approach with every dog. Dayna understands that grooming can be stressful for some pets, and she works carefully to ensure each dog feels calm, secure, and well cared for—resulting in both a positive experience and a great look.

Our vision extends beyond daily care. We hope to one day open a dog rescue facility. Recently, we had the opportunity to take in a homeless dog, whom we are currently caring for and placing for adoption. Until we are able to expand, we are committed to helping one dog at a time.

Each of our staff and canine coaches go through specialized training and certifications in order to be qualified for handling your pet.

Professional Dog Groomer & Manager

Dayna has devoted her career to working with dogs, bringing over 28 years of experience in canine care and 19 years as a professional groomer. Her journey began early—at the age of 13, she participated in a volunteer program for gifted youth, working side by side with a veterinarian. This foundational experience sparked a lifelong commitment to animal health, behavior, and compassionate care. She holds a college degree in biology, with special interests in microbiology and animal behavior, and applies this scientific background to every aspect of grooming. Dayna carefully considers skin and coat health while tailoring her approach to each dog’s individual personality, making her especially skilled at working with anxiety-prone dogs. She also specializes in creative color grooming, blending technical precision with artistic expression. Beyond hands-on grooming, Dayna brings extensive leadership and operational expertise. She has built grooming salons from the ground up, establishing strong foundations that allowed them to grow into successful, sustainable businesses. She has also stepped into active salons to rework and improve operations, helping restructure workflows, improve team efficiency, and ensure continued long-term success. Dayna has managed and run successful grooming salons for several years, combining practical experience with thoughtful leadership. Throughout her career, Dayna has mentored and taught multiple groomers, supporting their growth into confident, successful professionals. She is known for her calm, patient approach and prides herself on building trusting relationships with both pets and their owners. Dayna’s dedication to quality care, education, and salon excellence makes her a respected and trusted figure in the grooming industry.
